DON’T WANNA LIVE A LIFE THAT’S COMPREHENSIVE ‘cause seeing clear would be a bad idea

James was just about to ascend the first stair when he heard a rather loud clunk, James’ first reaction was that Lily had thrown something at him, and he debated to himself whether to turn around. Lily probably just wanted another round. Nonetheless, he turned on his heel, much in the same snappish fashion he turned away from her previously, a hardened look on his face. He just could not say no to Lily Evans, or more like Lily had his attention, always.
Unfortunately James had turned to see Lily take a diving faint and pass out most unceremoniously in front of him in a very, very short skirt, James was horrified that he let himself notice this fact, what was he? Becoming Sirius? His mother had taught him better than that, but right now James was still too much in shock to notice all too much. WHAT THE HELL?! He was obviously and clearly thinking, things like this did not happen in real life, only in sappy muggle movies where the heroine faints and the hero scoops her up and she admits her undying love.
James made the leap to her in 0.345674 seconds and checked her pulse: she was alive. It was then a large lurch erupted from Lily’s stomach, and James knew at once that it was due to lack of food.
James of course had never experienced such a sensation before, his mother fed him at home to the very second, never late, 7 am, 12 noon and 7 pm and at Hogwarts, well, James was an adolescent boy, and he followed his stomach wherever it may lead him.
James bent down and scooped Lily up in his arms, noticing how light she was, his Quidditch arms were obviously doing the trick, he was sure that if she could see him now she would indeed appreciate the time that went into making the arms that were now carrying her.
The hospital wing was all the way over the other side of the fourth floor, which as pressing as it might sound was actually more difficult than you might at first glance think. Firstly, Filch trawled this floor more than any other because of the presence of the marauders on this particular floor and the trouble that seemed to follow them wherever they might go, and to avoid him was of course the number one aim, other than getting Lily to the hospital of course.
Fortunately, behind an ever so tricky tapestry a secret passageway led directly to the portrait of Mrs. Mucletskly, first matron of Hogwarts. James sidled his way over to the ornate portrait of a unicorn just outside the portrait of the fat lady, just as Mrs. Norris, not married to chuck, let out a loud meow, James quickly pressed the correct brick, holding Lily most awkwardly in one arm whilst running for the library, Mrs. Norris following him sounding out loud meows.
Slamming the picture of the elderly woman behind him as she gave a loud stutter James lay Lily down on the nearest bed and hollered for Madame Pomfrey, she gave him a glaring look, as though he had been too many times here before and looked down at Lily.

WAS A LONG AND DARK DECEMBER FROM THE ROOFTOPS I REMEMBER there was snow, white snow I REMEMBER FROM THE WINDOWS THEY WERE WATCHING ___________________________
Her eyes were closed. She felt something on her cheek. Opening her eyes, she saw snow, white snow. It floated around in circles, landing everywhere. Lily gasped as she looked down. Her body was covered in purple fabric, flowing down to the ground. She could feel her hair slicked back into a bun, and she had heels on, softly stamping the snow with her footprints. What was she doing here? The last thing she remembered, she was fighting wtih james Potter. Where was she now? She was in a park of some sort, and there was something hitting her face. As she pulled her hands up to her face, she felt a mask over her eyes. What was this?
Out from the mist, she saw someone come up. There was a mask over his eyes as well, and he had a suit on in deep black. He walked over, grabbing her hand and pulling her into a dance pose. Slowly, he began to sway to music that wasn't even there. There was a waltz feel to it, and she felt like they weren't even dancing. How was this happening? Who was this? She looked into his eyes, but they seemed clouded. She smiled a bit, then he pulled her in for a kiss. It wasn't anything big. It was simple, innocent, and it made her lips tingle. She felt a rush of heat travel up her face as the kiss was close. He pulled away, and she felt a smile come to rest on her lips. "Who are you?" She questioned. He smiled, lifting off his mask.
Horror and confusion filled her stomach. That couldn't be right. Her body suddenly felt like it was being pulled away, and as she floated to a surface she didn't know was there, she felt her voice waver as she whispered, "Potter!"
Lily opened her eyes, a headache slowly fading from her temple. Madame Pomfrey was hovering over her, a stern look on her face. "Why didn't you eat, Ms. Evans?" Lily decided that not answering would be the best bet, so she acted like she was clearing her throat. Pomfrey decided that her best bet was to go get her some water, so she left.
It was only then that she saw Potter, standing near her bed. It hadn't even occured to her how she got here. Had he carried her? She looked down, seeing her skirt and grabbed the blanket at the end of the bed, covering her legs quickly as she sat up to look at him. She decided that she didn't want to recognize that he was the one to save her, so she just smiled a bit weakly. This was going to hurt. "Thanks, for bringing me here. You didn't have to stay, though." That sounded like a good apology.

James watched over Lily as she stirred, eyes closed. Madame Pomfrey was not doing enough to help Lily, only standing there watching her, as he was, James looked at her incredulously as Pomfrey just stood there, doing nothing.
Admittedly, it was Pomfrey’s first year, but still, James knew that she should be doing something, brining her around. Was the spell invernete? Perhaps? Taking a large breath in, James noticed just how little proper air was in here, rushing around like a mother hen James opened the four closest windows and breathed in the air, wondering just who needed it more, Lily or himself.
The kid in the next bed groaned at him telling him most rudely to close the window, James replied with a prompt “no.” he wasn’t Lily Evans and he looked like he had the beginning of a pubescent moustache that went with the hairy tail he had growing from his tailbone. If James wasn’t sick with worry, he might have even been nastier to the child who had himself a tail and the beginning of a moustache. James’ eyes narrowed and he was about to ask the child, not all too nicely, exactly how he had obtained the tail. When he asked Lily say something.
She was blushing, and James’ eyes grew wide as to what she might have been thinking… A smile rest upon her lips and James could not help but smile with her, “Who are you?” James looked her over, could she not see yet? He was James I. Potter, Quidditch Captain and general all round marauder heartthrob. She most definitely knew who he was; he had been obsessed with her for five years.
She whispered ”Potter!”, though James was dismayed to hear that she sounded horrified to notice that it was him standing at her bed’s end. He pursed his lips thinking that she would at least be a little more grateful that he had carried her here, with the perils of Mrs. Norris on his coattails. Her eyes opened and James stopped panicking. Though Pommie was giving her the interrogation, why hadn’t she eaten?
Did Pommie think that this was an eating disorder or something? James looked positively alarmed and Lily didn’t answer.
It was then that she chose to look at him. James gave her a smile, all anger he had with her completely evaporated, James noticed that she was trying to pull up the blanket and he thought maybe she might be cold, going to the windows systematically again he pulled them closed, and the child with the tail thanked him, James looked at him coldly.
. "Thanks, for bringing me here. You didn't have to stay, though." She was sitting up now, and James smiled at her, taking a seat at the end of her bed. ”You’re welcome, we had a brief encounter with Mrs. Norris, though, on the way here. he said to her hoping that Sirius wouldn’t be too mad at him as he had probably left the fourth floor passageway open to discovery from Filch.
You know, You haven’t eaten yet!” James said looking for Pomfrey to get her some food.

WAS A LONG AND DARK DECEMBER FROM THE ROOFTOPS I REMEMBER there was snow, white snow I REMEMBER FROM THE WINDOWS THEY WERE WATCHING ___________________________
"You’re welcome, we had a brief encounter with Mrs. Norris, though, on the way here." Lily felt like she was still swimming through a fog. She was really trying to shake off that dream. Usually, she didn't put much into a dream. It was just...her lips were still burning a bit. She hated him, hated him for even weaseling his way into her dreams. It made her sick that she couldn't even get away from him in her most wildest dreams. Why was that? Why was James bloody Potter so prevalent in her life. She truly wished that he wasn't, and she really wanted him to leave her alone. Why wouldn't he? Why did rejection never work with him? She just really, really wanted that to work. She wanted that jerk to finally get it, to walk away without another thought, she could, why couldn't he? She wanted to shake her head at the fact.
"Well, you were carrying me to the hospital, I don't think Filch can deduct you for that. Plus, I'm sort of prefect, I can't exactly get into trouble. I can't just say I am making a spontaneous round. I was passed out, but I figured someone as high up as you could have come up with that excuse, are you losing it, Potter?" There, she was back. She might have passed out, but she was still on her toes. She had it, and she wasn't about to lose it, weird dream and carrying Potters or not.
"You know, you haven't eaten yet!" One thing James was, he wasn't smooth. Madame Pomfrey heard, oh she heard. She came over with a water and a tray of food, and Lily felt her mouth salivate in the thought of even eating one little piece. "Eat something." She stated simply. Lily smiled at her and took the fork that was on hand, cutting into an amazing piece of meat. She didn't care how it was prepared, she was just impressed she was able to contain herself enough to hold a fork. She ate a few bites, taking a drink from the water available, but not missing a stride in her eating. She took another bite, slowly eating as she looked at Potter.
"So, how did you get me here without a run in with Filch. You said the cat caught you, how'd you get away from her?

I can't just say I am making a spontaneous round. I was passed out, but I figured someone as high up as you could have come up with that excuse, are you losing it, Potter?"
“Still,” James said, “You think Filch is going to take that? No, most lively I would be pinned as knocking you out and then trying to have my way with you.” James laughed; the thought was ridiculous. However, he wouldn’t put it past someone like Snape or Avery. ”But of course, if worst came to worse I would probably think of something. Maybe I would tell the truth. Which, I know, if something you think I don’t do. But on occasion, when the time is right, I do use that truth thing...” He noticed she was still being biting. Of course she was, she was Lily Evans, even if James had just saved her from a Higgogriff, a Firecrab and a Sphinx all in one night James doubted she would drop her icy demeanour towards him. He Sighed.
There were so many girls at Hogwarts that didn’t eat, James watched Lily eat and smiled, she was one of them that did. Once upon a time when James was going out with Hestia Jones, a Ravenclaw girl that was far, far too skinny for her own good, this happened. The passing out from not eating thing, she would never ever eat in front of him and it made James uncomfortable.
Of course, Hestia Jones had been a special one and she and James had gone out for 3 months, although she scared him somewhat with her intensity. But of course, James only had eye for Lily, as of now, even when he was thinking about Hestia Jones it was only in conjunction with thoughts about Lily. In fact he was thinking about Lily and this was the reason he didn’t resigeter that she was saying something to him.
So, how did you get me here without a run in with Filch. You said the cat caught you, how'd you get away from her?
Doing a double take, it took James a few seconds to process the question that Lily had given him.
“You know the secret passage behind the first ever school nurse?” he inquired, though he doubted she would, she was a prefect after all. “Well I had to sidle along there, and I’m pretty sure it’s been compromised, but basically the chase was, I was father than she was.”
It was at this exact point that Filch decided to burst into the Hospital wing through the portrait of Mrs. Muclutzky who gave another loud shriek and then fell back to sleep.
“Yep, definitely been compromised.”
